Founded by a caregiver. Delivered with compassion, dignity, and trust.
Butterfly Home Care is a purpose-driven provider of compassionate, in-home care for individuals with disabilities, aging adults, and families navigating complex needs. Founded by Becky Wang and shaped by lived experience, Butterfly was built to offer the kind of support families can trust: warm, dependable, and grounded in dignity.
We understand that no two care situations are the same. Some families need personal care and daily support. Others need respite, companionship, autism support, or help navigating a major life transition. Our role is to meet families where they are and provide care that fits real life.
When care becomes part of daily life, no family should have to navigate it alone.
Families need more than help with daily tasks. They need caregivers they can trust, communication they can count on, and support that respects the dignity of the person receiving care. At Butterfly Home Care, we build care around the individual and the family, with compassion, consistency, and professionalism in every interaction.
Butterfly Home Care offers flexible in-home support designed to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and as independent as possible.

Care that fits real life looks different for every family. That is why we take time to understand routines, preferences, challenges, and goals before anything begins.
Every family's situation is different, and we genuinely want to understand yours. Share what's been happening, what your loved one needs, and what's been on your mind. We're here to listen — not to rush you toward a decision.
A Butterfly care coordinator will visit your home to meet your loved one, understand their routines, and learn what matters most to them and to your family. This is our chance to truly get to know the person we'll be caring for.
Using everything we've learned, we create a personalized care plan — matched to your loved one's needs, preferences, and goals. We also help navigate funding options like Medicaid waivers so cost doesn't stand in the way of the right care.
Your caregiver is introduced before services officially begin, so your loved one has a chance to get comfortable first. From the very first visit, we check in with your family to make sure everything feels right.
My daughter’s caregiver always encourages her independence while keeping her safe. We’re seeing her grow more confident every day.
When my sister with multiple disabilities needed help at home, Butterfly stepped in with respect, flexibility, and genuine care.
My grandson has profound physical and intellectual disabilities. The caregivers from Butterfly treat him with such love and professionalism—it’s beautiful to witness.
My adult son is non-verbal and needs 24/7 supervision. Butterfly provided us with a compassionate DSP who is trained and attentive. We finally have peace of mind.

In many cases, we can begin the process immediately after your first call. Once we complete the assessment and care plan, services can often start within days. If your situation is urgent, let us know — we will do everything we can to move as quickly as possible.
Yes. Every Butterfly caregiver completes our Butterfly Certified Caregiver program before being assigned to any client. Training covers autism spectrum disorders, positive behavior support, de-escalation, sensory-aware care, communication strategies, and daily living skills. Caregivers are not placed with any client until all training is complete.
We accept private pay, long-term care insurance, veterans benefits through Veterans Care Coordination, and Medicaid waiver programs. If you are not sure what you qualify for, we are happy to help you explore your options — many families are surprised by the support available to them.
Consistency is something we take seriously, especially for individuals with autism or developmental disabilities who rely on familiar routines and relationships. We make every effort to assign a consistent caregiver and to avoid unnecessary changes. When a change does become necessary, we handle the transition thoughtfully and with advance notice.
Yes — and we want to answer this honestly. Our caregivers are trained in positive behavior support and de-escalation. We do not use punitive approaches. We work with families and behavioral specialists to understand what is behind a behavior and respond in ways that are safe, calm, and consistent. We review each situation individually before services begin to make sure we can provide the right level of support.
When you hire privately, you take on the responsibilities of screening, training, backup coverage, tax withholding, and liability yourself. With Butterfly, all of that is handled. Our caregivers are background-checked, insured, trained through our certification program, supervised, and covered for backup if they cannot make it. You get professional accountability and peace of mind without having to manage it yourself.
We hear this often, and we take it seriously. The most common frustrations families describe are inconsistent caregivers, poor communication, and undertrained staff. At Butterfly, we address these directly — we prioritize caregiver consistency, train specifically for autism and developmental disabilities, stay in active communication with families, and treat every client as an individual with a real care plan. We cannot promise perfection, but we can promise transparency and accountability when things need to be addressed.
